Delivery ApproachThese six lessons are designed to be delivered to teams of teachers in groups of three. Teams should have one Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher and two academic core teachers.
It is suggested that three additional teachers experienced in the created of integrated instruction support the instruction as well. These "Team Leads" typically work best with groups of 9-12 teachers, or 3-4 Teams.

Instructional SequenceDuring the six lessons that make up the face-to-face phase, teachers will be given time to explore examples of integrated instruction. They will identify the key elements to an integrated project, and then collaborate and develop a project-based learning project of their own design.
Each teacher will also identify four key lessons within their subject area that correspond to the Team’s project. The teacher participants will use the online tools on the site CTE Online to set up a “project page” that will house their four lesson plans. Teachers will then complete writing their four lessons remotely and receive feedback and final evaluation through the assistance of their assigned Team Lead. |
